We unveil the title track from the Winter EP this Friday night at Rudz

cthulhuIf our having just completed recording a Kate Bush song and having made the #2 slot in Houston Press’ “Houston’s Top 10 Saddest Songs” list has you fearing that the LP4 has gone soft, then you may want to join us over at Rudyard’s tomorrow night.

First off it’s going to be a fun show because we’re playing the first night of Rudyard’s’ 35th anniversary party.  It’s a diverse group of bands and the beer will be flowing like nobody’s business.  But for those of you who have been wondering, “Where is the Heavy?  I was expecting an earth-shattering Heavy!”  Well the wait is over as tomorrow night we debut Clinton’s ode to the great Cthulhu, “C is for Cthulhu.”  We’ve been working on it over the summer and expect to be done with recording it this month so it seemed as good a time as any to lay it on you guys in all its drop-C glory.

We’ll be playing a heavy set to lay the proper foundation for this song which will close the set. So make sure to come on out if you want to see the stacks put to good use.  We’re the penultimate band of the evening so you’ll also have ample time to imbibe before your inevitable doom as we call forth the Ancient One.
