We are thrilled to show everyone the brand new cover for the digital edition of the first LP4 album, 1995’s Immortal Chinese Classics. That, my friends, is the work of Italian artist Massimo Repetto, aka Kabuto Art Lab.
Massimo, as you may recall, was the artist behind our Ampalanche album cover and when starting this project of bringing our missing albums to digital streaming services, he seemed just the person to make a newly commissioned cover for our first album. Yup, we paid a real human being actual hard cash to lend us their skill and talent to do something no AI/LLM could ever do – create something beautiful and unique. We just paid him and said “have at it!” and just look at that new cover.
Man, it’s almost too fabulous for something we recorded over 30 years ago on a DIY cassette 6-track recorder, isn’t it?
Anyhow, this means we are close to wrapping up the big project of bringing those long out of print albums to digital streaming services. Oh and you’ll be thrilled to know Stephen Finley has remastered the albums for the upcoming re-release which we hadn’t planned on when we first announced this but, man, it was worth the extra time.
Well that’s all the news from LP4 industries.
Y’all take care.
Y’all take care.
