This weekend, we were shooting the footage for the commercial/video we are making for Assault on the Vault of the Ancient Bonglords. As we mentioned before, the theme song has been recorded and so this Sunday we – along with our friends Stevie Sims of Burn the Boats and Robert McCarthy of From Beyond – met at the Linus Pauling Quartet soundstage to film this soon to be Oscar contender.
It was not easy to shoot a three-minute short in a mere 8 hours. No! There was much Mountain Dew to be chugged , vast oceans of beer to be drunk, copious amounts of Cheetos and pork rinds to be consumed, as well as some other business our legal department has suggested we not mention! The result was nothing less than an epic so grand that if David Lean we alive today, he would surely be humbled by the grandeur.
