Psychedelic Battles Volume 3 available today! So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish.

Good morning, friends.

Here we are. After all these many years, what may very well be the final Linus Pauling Quartet release, Psychedelic Battles Volume 3, is finally available today – Monday 10 July 2017 .    Included is the 15-minute long “Jólaköttur” which has every single member of the band performing and was written collectively by all concerned which makes it a fine epitaph.   Additionally, Clinton Heider gets to have the last word with his song “Trees” closing out the side.  We should mention that our side is fittingly dedicated to the late Italian music writer Enrico Ramunni; he had been a supporter of ours since almost the beginning and will be sorely missed.  The other half of split album has 4 songs from Italy’s Colt.38 which are phenomenal and worth the price of admission alone.   Remember there will be only 300 copies printed so, if you like something you can hold in your hands, grab ’em now at the link below. Those of you without turntables will have to wait until October for the digital edition.

We should say thank you all for all your support over the years.  You all have been wonderful fans and great people.  If you want to keep up with our musical work, you can catch Clinton and Steve playing with our good friend Mlee Marie (who was always kind of the 8th member of the band) in Hearts of Animals and, while Clinton retired from the LP4, the rest of us have not retired from music.  We have been working on new material over these many months so keep an eye out for our next as of yet unnamed musical endeavor over the next few months.

And so it is, from all of us here at LP4 Headquarters, that we say
“So long, and thanks for all the fish.”
